How are there just 2 moments in Season 2? I can think of many equally fucked up moments
Well
It's more like...if you were to ask me, my thoughts immediately go to these two things. But if I were to think about the season more, then yeah there's a lot of horrific stuff.
I don't think I could stomach watching the entirety of season two again, but I have to watch the finale one more time before season 3. It might have been the best hour of television I've watched all year.

Ah right, yeah
I guess what springs to mind first for me is
Beverly Katz, though that's not necessarily more messed up, but she was one of the main characters, and it was pretty upsetting

somewhat apropos, i was served by a bartender at a fancy thing on tuesday who looked scary similar to a 20-something mads mikkelsen
i had to cover my cheekbones while he took my order. it was one of the few times in my life where i've felt legitimately cowed by the handsomeness of another man

Have you never before been drowned into the crushing magnitude of a man-crush?

the tv screen shields me from the psychological effects of most!!
but i was unprepared to meet the avatar of mads himself

Oh I meant in real life!
I had met some guys by the time I was 20 that I couldn't look straight in the eyes and when they'd shake my hand I'd lose strength in my knees.
after seeing Hannibal, I can't watch Casino Royale without feeling they a little bit wasted Mads Mikkelsen
he was great in it, it's just that he's one-upped by people who are so much less scary
Mikkelsen is so great. He's utterly mesmerizing without speaking a word in Valhalla Rising, even after the first 30 minutes when it becomes a bit of a pretentious slog.

...is this chase scene set to Tusk by Fleetwood Mac?
Yes, yes it is. The moment that happened I was in love with the show.

So I'm pretty sure anytime I see Sam Elliott mentioned, for some reason I think of Sam Kinison. And then quickly realize, no, Sam Kinison is Sam Kinison. I don't know who Sam Elliott is.
Until someone mentioned Parks and Rec, at which point I immediately realized "Oh, it's THAT guy!"

Well, I also know him from The Big Lebowski. Okay, let me consult the oracle...
Okay, IMDB says I also saw him in The Golden Compass, but I don't remember anything about that except Nicole Kidman. And Ghost Rider, which for some reason I was thinking was Kris Kristofferson. And Mask, but I don't actually remember his part there either. I think I've also seen Road House. Otherwise...yeah.
The Americans was interesting and I'll give it a couple more episodes, but my plate is full enough that it's going to have to really wow me to get me to commit

That garage fight in the pilot is really what got me hooked (that finishing blow), but I will say that Margo Martindale is introduced as a regular character a few episodes in.
I don't know if there was a "wow" moment in The Americans that really got me watching, but the episode dealing with the Reagan assassination attempt sealed the deal for me. Should be early on if you can make it there Ghost. Episode 3, 4? What also helped was I started watching Homeland at the same time, and The Americans came out of that gate the clear winner as The espionage show. Not that I'm bashing Homeland, it just feels like 24 2.0.

That final scene in the pilot (in the garage) for The Americans... man, that was some good stuff. I was mostly hooked before then, but that was the capper.

Yeah, I mean I think the creator's basically said he wants the tv show mythology to be more supernatural than the original stuff, which I'm fine with.
Oh man, something to look forward(?!?) to.
I'm trying to think back.
HANNIBAL SPOILERS
this was my first thought as well

Amy Smart is pretty good in it. I'm halfway through and I reckon the Crowes are pretty solid antagonists for this sesason.
And it has Art being a badass!
