I still have a favourite American Gladiators competitor.
Clifton Miller. He set the Eliminator record and had one of the closest finishes of all time.
He ruled.
How can your favorite competitor not be professional wrestler Rico Constantino?
There was an Eliminator obstacle that was just swinging punching bags that were meant to knock you off a balance beam into a little crash mat pit. Rico saw one coming at him and ripped it off the chain and threw it down into the pit.
Got in at the last minute with my shirts. Got my mom the Rock shirt she wanted, and got myself a little something. You all have 1 guess as to what it was.
I tried to listen to the regular Bombcast and found out everyone on the show has the exact opposite opinions of me. All talking about Ass Creed, Far Cry, CoD, etc. One RPG was brought up and noone was interested in it.
Gave the Powerbombcast a try, and it was a little better. Is there a new one already? I listened to 17. Or was this just during the regular Bombcast?
That was Vince Russo's way to draw interest in WCW.
How the hell was this man still working in the wrestling business 15 years later?
Nobody knows. There's a lot of mystery behind why people hired, and then kept hiring, Vince Russo. Even recently one company risked its entire future (both TV and in general) just because they wanted to keep Russo around. It's fucking baffling.
Someone suggested it earlier...should we make Strap Matches an official Hatewatch All-Star? We've had quite a few of them, and they've all been bad. I think we can count the bullrope match. And wasn't there a similar match with Sting/Volkov? Did we watch the Coal Miner's Glove match?

He can point to the Attitude Era and take full credit for it. He's lived off that for 16 years.

That would make sense if him being a big part of killing WCW wasn't so prominent in a business that had two big companies at the time and now only one because he helped kill one of them. Fucking up WCW is a huge story in wrestling and it's not like the business is large enough for people in charge of a wrestling company don't know what kind of fuck up Russo is.
I was working through all the inventory, thinking about what hidden meaning could be found in the shirts that were available (zomg you guys, they are going to push Balor to the MOON), and which shirts were something I would feel good about wearing out in the world.

Except for the regret of when they break up.
Which is why I'm not getting the Shield shirt. Too many memories.

Eh, they did OK sometimes. Not very often, but sometimes.
It's the first time ever that Bret (legitimately) tapped out or gave up.

Russo thinks all wrestling fans look at dirt sheets.

The funny part is, even the fans who look at dirt sheets think his shit is awful.
Seriously, you can count the number of people who thought this was a good idea on one finger.
Specifically, the middle one.

He's always lived in his own little world.

I was considering Bolieve and King of Swing too, but that's just too much money to spend...
It has 30 minutes left at the 2:14 mark.
