Johnny Rivers is a unique figure in the history of rock music. On the most obvious level, he was a rock star of the 1960s and a true rarity as a white American singer/guitarist who made a name for himself as a straight-ahead rock & roller during the middle of that decade. Just as important behind the scenes, his recordings and their success led to the launching, directly and indirectly, of at least three record labels and a dozen other careers whose influence extended into the 1970s, 1980s, and beyond.

Ian McLagan - Little Troublemaker (Promo Disc!!!)
I know promo vinyl has value, but are promo CD's something people want?
I mean, they're always the most lossless as possible, and I've seen some discs with rare instrumental or vocal only cuts... Those are cool. But besides that... Anything I should know about?

Sadly, collectible CDs seem to be at an all time low
But they'll come back in style eventually. Vinyl did and tapes are starting to.
Heard this at Sasquatch. It was both an above average and most memorable performance. The rain came in about half way through the song and all she did was double down and crush it.
I picked up two more records over the last week or so! Plastic Beach by the Gorillaz, and Innerworld by the Electric Youth.
...I promise I didn't just pick up the second one because I haven't been able to stop listening to the Drive soundtrack at work for the last month or so. I like this song the best from it though:

It's only a matter of time
Saw the Kooks and Joywave last Thursday. Joywave was cool live which surprised me because I strongly dislike their recorded stuff
Glass Animals, Dawes, Dead Sara, The Decembrists, Alabama Shakes... All local.
Then I've got wristbands to Sasquatch, and tickets to Foo Fighters at the gorge.
Sasquatch is still up on the air. The passes were free, so we're not obliged.
I'm seeing spoon next Monday. Can't fuckin wait

Just listening to it for the first time now and I haven't got to that track yet.
But it's been mostly instrumental, so possibly not.
edit: No, definitely not.
I can't wait for my physical copy to get here so I can pop it in my car.
It's really god damn mellow. Almost too much. There's only like 3 high energy tracks.
Ooh yeah I love me some Redline!
