japan, you're marginally involved with automobiles, so I was wondering if you could advise me
For the last ten years I've driven a Peugeot 306. It's not on its last legs or anything, but I feel it's time to move on.
Based on my own list of wants, I''m reading halfway decent things about the Fiat 500L, and maybe a more modern Ford Focus.
Do you have any knowledge about whether these cars are any good? Or is there a car you'd recommend for single city driving?
Most of my car knowledge revolves around whether they are more or less expensive than average to fix in a typical shunt
Having said that the Focus is popular for a reason, as are the Fiats and BMW Minis
The diesels are really good on tax and fuel
What's your priority? Cost/value/residual value/running cost/performance/etc?
The ultimate priority is MP3 compatibility
Other than that, I'd like a relatively compact five-door car, like the one I drive currently, for ease of city maneuver. Next priority is running costs, so probably a low-carbon Diesel engine with decent mileage, and then obviously a car that doesn't break down a lot or cost £PorscheInStockport to insure.
The one negative I hear about even the Fiat 1.6 diesel engine is it feels underpowered, like it's a pain to overtake anything. My current car is a turbo diesel and I feel like it does the job, but I dunno how that compares.
Fleet buyers, concerned with running and servicing costs, residual value, and are unafflicted by badge snobbery, are lately going for:
Hmm...just pondering things. Removing the EC actually is interesting in that the minority votes, be they dem or pub, in the set states gain a voice back which has been lost for a long time. Especially if the election is in 10 points of each other. In some states that is almost the entire electorate.

If you're using a mouse you're playing Diablo wrong.
I like both. The controller set up is really great. But the classic set up lets them do all sorts of skill stuff and difficulty ramping you can't get with the controller.
Huh, smart move for Google even if it is just a tiny fraction of the iphone pop.
Google and Apple worked out some stuff too, since Google is allowed to mention android in the app store with it, and they gained a lot of access to data through the bluetooth stack for their device.
Sadly, the level of interaction is still way below the Apple Watch (notifications are not interactive, 3rd party apps cannot push tot he watch from iOS, watch faces are only the ones curated by google and pushed to the iOS app, etc.) - but competition is good, and I bet over time they work out the kinks and make a richer product for iOS users as a result. Of course, WatchOS 2.0 is almost out, and that seriously improves on the Apple Watch in very meaningful ways.
In one quarter on the market Apple decimated the sales of every single Google / Android wearable since they came out. But the good news is, people now know it is a product that exists and competitors can now start pushing their products as "like the apple watch, but cheaper/more customizable" and get some traction they did not have before the watch existing.
This category is gonna blow up in the next year or so.

Also the different looks is important. I think Apple underestimated how much people would want choice in the watch design. I can see why Apple is holding back some parts to push people to their product, doesn't mean they should though. But it is a smart business move.
I am curious how the next gen of google watches will be. Some look really nice and I won't lie the google now card system is actually kind of genius. Especially since I started using it. Not on the version where it creeply stalks me but still it does a lot of neat things.

Some people have ass internet, getting it installed from the disc and patching is far better than downloading 2+ gigs worth of data over shitty internet then having your ISP bitch that you used 20 gigs of bandwidth this month.
not a doctor, not a lawyer, examples I use may not be fully researched so don't take out of context plz, don't @ me

People with lousy internet probably should've thought of that before being born in a country that's not Estonia or South Korea.

Pop up that wants to install adware and do a virus scan. Specifies that I have a galaxy 4s.
Look, I don't know what you youngster hippy liberals are up to, but I'm not going to have intervivum relationships in my America.
Have to admit that I'm kinda curious about how they made it work at all. Good news for the iOS people who don't want to spend $350 on a watch, though

Google Maps can talk through my watch for turn by turn directions... the capability exists.
But it only works in a moment or two between when my phone rings and when I answer. There's no setting to make it happen all the time.
It makes me so mad
