I just got back from a Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake co-headline show and it was pretty awesome.
A dude in the crowd thought it'd be a good idea to take a fire extinguisher off the wall and spray water all ove the crowd and the lights and the stage, they cut the lights, but the band kept playing in the dark :^:
the new wu tang album kind of sucks but the new ghostface is amazing
I haven't listened to it but people in the Rap Law thread in D&D say it's a waste of recording time. I dunno, what is his subject matter? Does he cover any new ground or is it just more cocaine and bitches (like all of his previous albums)?
tonight is my companies Christmas party and apparently they do karaoke every year. I've been roped into singing both Bust a Move by Young MC and Highway Star by Deep Purple.
I've never worked a retail job in the holiday season. I think I would murder someone. Probably some customers.
The biggest problem is the lack of variety.
I would fucking kill to hear Silent Night, or anything, really, that isn't a song about a snowman, being trapped inside with your fuck buddy because of the weather, chilling in the snow, or fucking bells.
Too bad that you can't because whoops no songs with religious tones, someone might get offended.
I don't actually go shopping like a regular american. I just ask people what they want for christmas and order it off of the appropriate site. I sure as hell am not going to trudge through a mall, hearing that music blaring out of a hundred different speakers like it's the music to my own personal funeral.
