As far as I'm concerned, there's really no reason to not release every show ever on DVD. Every show has its fans and there is so little cost to making DVD box sets. Companies make money hand over fist on these things.

The one real obstacle to making DVD sets of TV shows is the RIAA, demanding outrageous fees for shows that had music in them.
WKRP in Cincinnati will never make it to DVD because of this.
well hopefully the riaa will die in a decade and we'll be allright

Australia?! How many people bought it there? Like, three?
Well this is interesting, the two rocko sets I mentioned earlier are actually all of season 1 when you put them together. So they released season 1, but as two separate sets.
I need to find out where my sister put the Powerpuff Girls DVD I got her so many christmases ago. I know she never watches it nor does she watch the Monsters Inc. disc either. I'm going to steal them back.
You know what else hasn't been released on DVD but should be? The Ducktales Movie.

laziness and evil
Not that that's gonna stop me from picking these up.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, it's the same deal as the Dr. Horrible DVDs here, in which you order and they make the DVDs on demand.
Edit: Also I don't think they put any extras on these sets or the other season sets, just episodes.
Okay this is starting to look like Nick was lazy and didn't want to give these a proper release, but at least it's Rocko on DVD.
Right?

Did it take a season or two to hit its stride or something?

Only in Australia
Fuck Australia
Only in Australia? That doesn't even make sense.

That's kind of retarded.
Anyway I can watch the special online?
Same.
This was my favorite:

Shit, I do not own this film.
Why the fuck do I not own this film?
Because it's not available in widescreen.
almost 5 years later Warner Bros. has STILL not released the damn thing in anything other than fullscreen.

What in the hell is this bull shit.
Well, I just did some research and apparently Region 2 got the movie in widescreen, but not R1. Le sigh.

whole thing is on youtube if you're interested
Yup, Treasure of the Lost Lamp with Rip Taylor as the Genie!
I have a VHS copy of it that I had to steal from my grandma's house.
I think Tress MacNeille would give her a run for her money on that.
Those lists look about the same
they will have to mudwrestle for the title.
not because either of them is particularly attractive, but because mudwrestling is the dominant sport in the field of title-granting.

I caught myself using "crap spackle" as a cuss lately.
The second year students at my school were watching that on DVD in class the other day.
The awesome part is that it was mandatory viewing. As in, if you didn't show up to watch this episode you got docked a letter grade.
EDIT: I go to an animation school, if that clears things up.
"Make that bitch your bitch you bastard!"
May be one of the finest lines in all of animation
