This is sort of on topic but we need a DC gathering sometime. The long talked about zoo trip has to happen.
Bits is the absolute best to hang with in real life.
You've hung out with Bits?
She owes me a bitching high five.
Zoo in the spring or hold off till summer? Summer in DC...yea. Maybe spring would be best.
Yeah, she's been up here all week.
As for zoo I'd definitely opt for late spring
and javen was a perfectly lovely tour guide/pretend tourist with me and my friends and I had a ton of fun (and he also ate the biggest lobster I've ever seen)

True fact about Javen: He can consume food that is more than double his meager body weight.

PENGUIN IN A LIMO!
Unfortunately, things have happened
What kinda things happened?
The stretch wasn't available so the penguin had to roll in one of the escalade limos? And since he's so short he couldn't make it to the running boards and was thus eaten by the polar bear who was right behind him in his Caddy?
today while I was in baltimore I was kicked out of my home because my dad flipped out about a screw which is seriously stuck, which is preventing me from replacing the license plate on my car.
I wish I was lying.
In other news I had a lot of fun in baltimore!
I planned my three hour drive down to harrisonburg for this wedding tomorrow. I am really dreadding driving back late tomorrow night so that I can still go in to the office on monday.

No, I needed to attend that is why I couldn't come.
So... I am back from a pretty kick ass little weekend.
Climbed around inside a submarine.
Bought tickets for the aquarium.
Met Vermiculture, the new guy. He didn't try to kill us so that was a plus.
Waiting for Bale to finally fucking show.
Saw lots of fishes.
Saw Mrs. Cracked drop her sunglasses into a large tank filled with sharks and stingrays.
Drank.
Moved bars.

Moved bars.
Drank.
Ate.
Drank.
Did shots.
Rocked the fuck out at an absolutely amazing 3 hour tour de 80s force. No, really... this concert was unbelievable good.
Saw a fight that almost spilled into the group.
Kept rocking the fuck out.
Went back to the hotel, ate brownies made by Usagi and passed the hell out.
This was such a fun weekend. Thanks for coming out guys. Those that couldn't make it, you were missed and discussed amongst the group. We'll be sure to get you back down when we do this again because yes, it was that good of a concert.
Javen, glad that you got the loan. That's pretty awesome for your brother.
the highlights of the weekend had to be:
going to dinner with lostwords, my favorite asian ladyboy
climbing through the submarine with Niko's grandmother taking tickets "One Ship, 2 Aduts"
my wife dropping her sunglasses into the stingray/turtle tank at the aquarium
drinking at Hard Rock Cafe
drinking and dinner at James Joyce Irish Pub. irish car bomb, arguing with old ladies and letting everybody know who is breastfeeding
watching Ziplock bust his ass on the wooden bridge on the way to the concert
the concert was awesome, great little venue, except for the fight between 2 douchebags right in front of us
my dad is a real emotional dude and the slightest things set him off in a hulk rampage sometimes. I'm not upset or anything, I just feel like he is going to be real lonely if I leave. I guess it's not too bad, I've only been living at his place for a few months anywho.
ALSO!
I just realized that the James Joyce Irish restaurant charged me twice for the 1 smithwicks I had. If only I had not been so distracted by my mother I could have prevented this!

If I decide to take the train rather than drive 45 minutes each way does someone want to pick me up/drop me off at the station?
What time would you be getting in?
edit: wait...only two of us will.
car bad
Ziplock smile.
they dont even know what town its in
... oh shit
I'd be up for that.
Sure.
yeah im definitely going to have to take a nap before when i get home so i dont fall asleep on the road this afternoon
just finishing up one or two things and then we are out the door
hey
I could plan it and not show up
late spring works for me, maybe it'll be incentive to get my stupid thesis finished.
trains run from Union Station to Penn Station pretty regularly, what time should I get there
and javen was a perfectly lovely tour guide/pretend tourist with me and my friends and I had a ton of fun (and he also ate the biggest lobster I've ever seen)
I think things are happening around noonish but it will be low key so whatever works
well if someone's gonna pick me up we should probably figure out exactly when
although I could always take a cab from the station to the aquarium if all else fails I guess
I guess I should have planned more thoroughly, but we won't leave you stranded I promise
Better off heading to the hotel from the train station.
I'll be getting into town at around 11 (I think).
If you're around that time I'll come and get ya. If not, well, 15 bucks isn't so bad.
