Verizon Phones with Bluetooth

Well i guess the mods didnt Ok me just taking over the other bluetooth thread since its locked so im gonna start my own new one.

Just got a new phone tonight, the LG VX8300. Picked up a bluetooth adapter for my computer but i cant get them to connect. Learned verizon blocks alot of the phones bluetooth abilities so im guessing this is the problem. Anyone know of any websites, programs, etc to help me get the most out of this phone?

EDIT: Got it to connect. Just can seem to get bitpim to find my phone. Think it might be the com port that i plugged the usb adapter into. I have no idea which one to select in bitpim.

i'll vouch for that. i just spent a couple of hours looking around the Howard Chui site and forums. it's like slashdot, except only without the grammar, clear explanations, or places to even begin.

I did find some usefull information. Just cant figure out how to get bitmip to work still.

I shall google that and see what i can come up with. Thanks for the suggestion. I got bitpim to connect last night but now it only wants to connect every now and then. Wont work everytime.
