I know people went to different restuarants and such over the weekend. With that in mind we should post reviews of where we ate!
King's Barbeque House
518 6th Ave S
Price Range: 4.75 for a 1 meat Lunch Box/5.75 for a two meat lunch box
Opinion: Very Cheap and very tasty. You get a ton for the 4.75 deal alone. The lunch boxes come with a fork, rice, soy sauce, and any meat of your choice. The meats here are: Roasted Duck, Roasted Chicken, Roasted Pork, BBQ Pork, BBQ Chicken, Curried Squid, and a bunch more.
Honey Court
about 1 block away from King's BBQ house
Price Range: 1.50 for a small dim sum dish and 9.99 for a rice dish that serves four.
Opinion: Also really cheap. The Dim Sum goes from 12:00-3:00

1600 Pike Pl
Price range: 5.95 - 7.00 'ish
Opinion: Simple but delicious sandwiches! Fresh made mozarella-style soft cheese on fresh crusty bread, mmmm... A nice scenic walk from the Convention center to Pike Place Market.
Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery
1333 5th Ave
Price range: 10.00 - 20.00
Opinion: Kind of like an upscale, non-chain TGI Friday's or the like. I don't mean this as an insult, it is good food and good atmosphere for not a lot of money (when considering dinner prices). Hamburgers, steaks, fish, etc... good variety if your group can't agree on a theme for dinner.
Il Fornaio
600 Pine St # 132
Price Range: 9.00 - 25.00
Opinion: Good italian restaurant not far from the WSTCC. Cozy atmosphere, would go again.
Dunno the address, but walk about 3 blocks down Pike St. and go into the Century Plaza. Amazingly cheap and delicious sushi.
Kell's Irish Pub:
In an alley on Pike's Place. 14 of us showed up on a whim for dinner without a reservation. They let us push a bunch of tables together and had amazing service, great selection of drinks, and my Apple-Whiskey Porkchop was delectable.
Convention Center
Apparently 5$ footlongs are 7$.
Kell's is awesome. Their shepherds' pie is delectable too.
On a related note, I wrote a few reviews, THEN hit "quote" . . . . poof went the reviews
820 Pike St (up the block and across the street from the main entrance)
Their food was surprisingly decent and not terribly over priced for being so close to the convention center. I wasn't expecting much from them, but liked it enough to go back twice. They serve Vietnamese food and have an express lunch. With the express lunch, you walk up to the counter, order and pay for your food. Then you sit down and have a full dining experience. The nice thing about that is when you're done eating you can go right back to PAX and not wait for the bill to come.
Also, their Thai iced tea was fantastic and you can get it to go.
Here is a link to their menue.
Apparently Washington also stopped accepting Subway cards four months ago. I brought mine up with me, but oh well. XD
I didn't eat out this year (saved up my money for swag), but I remember I was taken out to dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse last year and it was GODLY. So freaking good. So expensive. But so good.
I loved how they crossed out the prices and added their own, some of them were even crossed out twice.
WORD. Taco Del Mar's all I ever eat when I go here, both for PAX or Sakura Con. The Korean manager guy always recongnizes me whenever I come in. I've missed having Taco Del Mar since the one near my house closed down.
538 Broadway Ave
Sinfully good array of chocolate martinis and delicious cheesecakes. My taste buds are still dancing! (I don't even like martinis and I almost stole half of my friend's on top of my own)
2009 Omeganaut
The convention center always overcharges for everything. Get away from it to eat.
It was the best pizza I've ever had in my life.
That is all.
Between 5th and 6th ave on Pike st
Best subs in Seattle. I used to eat there once or twice a week when I was working downtown. It's cheaper than the food in the Convention center itself and much better. They use nice "meaty" breads and the fillings are better than Subway IMO.
Best selection of iced coffees evar!
Average Price (about 3-4)
Crepe Place outside.
Yum had the Ham w/ egg and goat cheese. A little on the high side but ultra yummie.
Uma Sake Sushi (somewhere around 1st right near the water).
Best place all weekend hands down. Spent $80 just on my meal, the Blue Tuna Toro (tuna belly) (10$ for one piece was by far the best piece of sushi ive ever had). The prices are good for sushi the choices are plenty and the drinks were very refreshing.
Palaminos
I wont be going here again. Got the salmon that was on the little plaque menu ($25) portions were way way small and wasnt anything to write home about.
Elephant & Castle (built into the red lion hotel)
Pretty average but good a lot of the things my friends wanted were gone at the time. They were out of some sodas and cider beer
Hurricanes (pretty far from the Sheraton where i stayed)
Good all around place to gather your friends at. Mostly bar american food. Pretty good.
Gameworks
crappy service and they werent even busy but the server kept saying sorry because they were so "swamped" the nachos are really good though.
Avocado, Hummus, and tomato on a croissant with a strawberry italian soda. $8 Really hit the spot to see friend but dammit, I was really pissed that she reminded me that I had missed the epic open mic the night before.
Not cheap ($26/head) but with all you can eat sushi, king crab legs and the like, they sure didn't make any money off me
The food was all quite fresh, and there was a good variety of sushi, nigiri and sashimi.
Fado Irish Pub
This is in pioneer square, so it's a bit of a trek, but well worth it. They put Guiness into almost everything - including the ice cream! One of the best shepherd pies I've ever had (not made by myself) and prices were quite reasonable.
Such a heavy burden now to be the one
Born to bare and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see
But I forgot my pen...
$5 splittable pizzas and $4 draft / mixed drink specials during happy hour. Across from the Red Lion hotel inside the business park. It was delicious and had a great atmosphere.
Lowell's -
Awesome breakfast in Pike Place with an awesome view. Traditional breakfast and breakfast tacos. ~$9 / plate
Listen to this man.
You have to go in and up a level to reach it, and they serve up orders fast, so you barely have to wait, and the subs were pretty tasty.
Definitely my new PAX easy lunch choice.
But, there was this place down on the 1st floor of the convention hall, called Moby's.
Horrible service, but that was fine as editing photos, videos, and podcasts kept me busy while waiting for my menu (You read that right) and my subsequent meal...
Best fish and chips Ive ever had.

the best part about King's is that there are never any lines. =D
1506 6th Ave
Seattle, WA 98101-1706
(206) 816-3314
Price Range: $16-$30 per entree
Opinion: Would definitely return! Great waitstaff and food!
They were busy with a party put on by one of the exhibitors along with the dinner rush but they did a fantastic job handling it all. The wait was only about 15-20 minutes for two and only a little longer for four. Staff was attentive and the food came out quickly.
They have over 150 beers on tap. They were out of what I wanted, but made a nice recommendation that I really liked. Someone at the next table ordered "the darkest beer you've got" and was in for quite a surprise. It seemed a bit much for him. (You guys at that table had some great stories and were fun to listen to, btw!)
The food was just what I was hoping for. My husband got halibut and chips with a fantastic batter and fried green onions. I had a grilled salmon dish with some sauce I don't recall the name of (tasty, though!) with garlic mashed potatoes and some in-season veggies. It was more than enough food and really good food at that.
I'd certainly return. The price is probably what keeps the wait from being longer. We went just after the exhibition hall closed, so we expected to have trouble getting into anywhere.
If I EVER go back to Moby's I'm not leaving any kind of tip... the service was terrible and the food was only edible (and by no means good) because it had been 12 hours since I had ate.
Even though I have seen homeless people work harder for their money I tipped $5 for 6 people, which was more than reasonable for the lack of service we got. Anyways, As I was getting ready to leave the waitress pulled me aside and actually told me "you need to tip 15%" Needless to say I said some fairly unkind words and then left.
If I do go back I plan to pay cash and pay with EXACT CHANGE, no tip. In retrospect i should have took the receipt that she complained to me about with the $5 tip on it and changed it to $0.
But from what my friends told me the fish and chips was good, I'm just not a fish person. You know its bad when the person eating with you used to be a waitress even said I should have left no tip.
Cyber dogs - Very warm atmosphere and I was able to play mrs. pacman while I ate a hot dog. I went here three times because it was very close by, cheap and filling. The hostess was incredibly friendly and was playing the movie Hackers on her tv throughout PAX.
Falafel Kings - This was a small shop near Pike's Place. I ordered a combo plate and it was pretty good falafel. Not the best I've ever had, but it is hard to make falafel bad (I have managed it once).
La Vita E Bella - I went here with my family and had pretty standard italian food. Better than olive garden, and comparable to local italian eateries here in Cincinnati/Dayton. The service was very good and the suggested wine was a very nice red. They forgot to nix the cheese on my pasta but they had another plate out for me in about 2 minutes. They had a TV continuously playing Iron Chef and it was a little distracting.
Cafe Flora - Holy shit. Holy, holy shit. I have never had a better breakfast at a restaurant. I had the heirloom tomato scramble. It came with blueberry muffin bread, roasted potatoes and scrambled tofu with heirloom tomatoes on it. As an appetizer I had an apple cinnamon roll with crushed walnuts and I washed it all down with yerba mate. It was quiet, the service was great and I had a really good conversation with my cousin and his wife.
Sadly the stomach ache given to us the next day or morning weren't our favorite. But that definitely did not stop us from craving the massive burritos.
Also, hey guys, while you're rating restaurants I hear there's a pretty cool site some guy from these forums made to help you out with those less... desirable...ratings.

PAX Prime 2014 Buttoneering!
I needed this information 4 days ago. Sounds awesome and right up my alley... Note for Pax'10
The taphouse had some decent lunch specials. I had the dungeoness crab with mac and cheese. It was fantastic.
I would have to say I didn't get to go to the westlake center as much as I would of liked due to time constraints.
The amtrak food was AWESOME if you did the West coast train trip. I had a very nice salad for lunch on the way back home. It was soo good it didn't need dressing.
Six Arms, a block up Pike from the center (JUST across the I-5 overpass), great pub with good beer and tasty burgers.
Gregorio's (sp?) subs, couple doors down from Gameworks/<insert name of sports bar attached to gameworks> on Pike, damn good subs, more selection than subway, and all of it much better quality, for about the same price.
- Von's was yummy and fast, as usual.
- Serious Pie by Tom Douglas was an awesome Yelp find and a great environment. I had a arugula, guanciale, and soft egg flatbread that was fuck-awesome.
Priced about the same as a Denny's, but with a kicking rad view of the bay.
There was a Mexican place at the top of the Pacific Place mall. I forget the name but the service was good and food was equally good.
The Mexican place was Mexico Cantina. Hit that last night with a bunch of the remaining PAXers and had a really excellent meal. Only sticking point was the waiter trying to play the Remember the Tickets game, which I don't like. Beyond that, the food was phenominal and it allowed for conversation.
The place next door ( Gordon Barsch? ) I hit Friday for lunch with my local friends. They have a decent selection of beer, and some hellaciously excellent garlic fries.
Dammit snackroad- You should of told me :P
Had a Reuben at the Tap House for dinner, best darn Reuben I've had in a long time, definitely worth the price. They also have a Sour Patch drink that's like sipping liquid Sour Patch Kids, it's amazing and I highly recommend it.
The Amtrak lunch car food was OK, definitely preferable to starving but not really worth what they charged - I say stick with the Cafe Car.
