How do I get my glandular swelling to go down

I've had swollen glands (throat) for over a week now. I'm ALMOST better. I went through a rough cough, pinkeye, horrible stuffed/runny nose (oscillating between Niagra Nose and Congestion City hourly) and the sorest throat ever.

Now, the only thing left aside from some lingering mucus are these swollen glands.

What can I do that doesn't require me to go to GNC?

Apply warm, wet washcloths to the painful lump for 20 to 30 minutes, 3 to 4 times a day. If you prefer, you can also use a hot water bottle or heating pad over a damp towel. The heat and moisture can soothe the lump, increase blood circulation to the area, and speed healing. It can also bring a lump caused by infection to a head (but it may take 5 to 7 days). Be careful not to burn your skin. Do not use water that is warmer than bath water.
Also, don't scratch/irritate them, because that'll just make it worse.

Interesting...I would have thought a cold compress.

    OK, I'll try that. Thanks.

Honey, i get this all the time, i just sit and eat honey for a few days. It usually clears up, also if you smoke try going on Silk Cut or whatever the equivalent of the weakest cigarettes are in America.

Good luck, i know how sore it can be.
