Starting Computer Business - Volume Discounts and other stuff?

I'm looking to set up shop on starting a computer company that targets a specific niche group (not trying to compete with dell here). Where and how can I obtain volume discounts from parts suppliers? My first instinct was just to buy parts off the shelf via newegg.com and the like, but I know i can drastically reduce costs by purchasing from specific distributors. Where online can I find these types?

Also, my sales route is going to be through web stores. I'll probably target Amazon, Yahoo, and eBay webstores. This is in addition to a main website. Are there any other online markets I could hit?

Et tu, Brute?

When you obtain a business license from the state, you will be able to open accounts with wholesalers. I don't know of any wholesalers specifically but they do exist.
