Anyone else check out the PlayOn coupon from PAX?

Did anyone else get a PlayOn Coupons at PAX last weekend? I just checked it out (pax.playon.tv) and it’s a pretty sweet deal! I don't think it checks to see if you actually got it from PAX either...For $20 I’m watching Hulu with my PS3 on my TV. The audio on my laptop sucks even with the volume cranked up so I've been wanting something like this. It says you can stream Netflix too so I'm gonna have to try that out later and report back.

    i was going to report this as spam, but $20 off playon is a hell of a sweet deal so now im conflicted. really anyone with a ps3 and netflix who doesnt already own this should jump on this deal.

    Besides Netflix, is there any big reason to prefer PlayOn over TVersity?

    First off - is there a dedicated PlayOn thread or is it just mentioned all over? A search for "PlayOn" found this, and "Play On" returns "On" as too small to a term.


    Second - I'm trying to watch movies through Hulu via PlayOn + PS3. I think I'm freezing up at commercial time though. How are people dealing with this?

    I had some trouble figuring out how to get it working on the Wii. I emailed their support team and got a response really quickly. I'm not having the problem you mention with watching Hulu so you may want to ping their support folks at http://www.themediamall.com/support I'm still really psyched with my purchase, $19, I pretty much got that much worth out of it this weekend.

    Make sure to also go to www.playonplugins.com to check out the plugins there. You can add support for South Park, Gametrailers, Spike, and more that's not supported by the main program.
