I just ordered this http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?Sku=L49-2343%20CA monitor since I was still using a damn CRT. Anyway, what I'm hoping to do is be able to play my 360 on the thing as well as use it for my computer. I went out and bought an HDMI to DVI cable (the website says it has an HDMI port but reviews online say it doesn't)
I'm pretty confident that with what I have I can get video on the thing but I'm worried about audio. The monitor itself has no speakers on it so I'm unsure of where any audio will come from. I'm thinking about buying an external TV Tuner so that I can use the monitor as an all around HD TV and I think that would fix my audio problem but thats not going to happen for a bit, if I can help it.
So, am I going to have to buy a TV Tuner in order to get sound off my Xbox?
You'll need to get another cable or two to hook your speakers into the White and Red audio plugs. It's the same setup I have on my Samsung 22 inch LCD. It works pretty well.
If you have some speakers/headphones for your PC you can run the audio from the VGA cable in through a 3.5mm adapter to the mic in port on your computer.
Turn mic volume on in volume options and it wil play through your speakers/phones.
I've got mine hooked up through some crazy adaptors to make the audio work. I sort of constructed my own thing to do it so i could use my PC speakers. It only cost me about $14, if you want i can take a pic of it its pretty easy to do.

I think this is the solution I'm going to use, but I'm a bit confused about the second link. Shouldn't I need female plugs, not male plugs. The Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable has male red/white plugs, so shouldn't they connect to female plugs and then into the 3.5mm cable that connects to the speakers?

I think its designed to be plugged into an amp.
You can buy adapters that turn those two male inputs into a single 3.5mm female though, should only be a few £/$.
