making DVDs

i have a collection of .avis that i'd like to fit on a DVD, or a collection of DVDs, so they can be played on my parents' cheap-ass DVD player.

what do i do, what do i use?

    Most older DVD players won't play .avi files on a DVD, so you'd probably have to convert it to some other format first that your player does support. Just do a google search for "convert avi to DVD" and you should get plenty of results.
