    Catching up on this series thanks to Mori and Janson - just started Season 3.

    Best Villain? Clearly, Racist Ghost Truck.

    Also, Finn from Glee totally dies in the first five minutes of the Wendigo episode.

    Oh god Racist Ghost Truck is such a bad episode

    it does have non-evil-or-just-misguided-up black people in it, though, which is unusual for the series

    Okay this episode was hilarious. Loved the Japanese gameshow. Also I love the trickster and it is great how they keep calling back to earlier stuff and expanding on it and tie it together to the Armageddon. Also dean loving the grey's anatomy type show is brilliant. Next weeks episode with the supernatural convention looks to be dynamite

    Season 2 was mostly pretty awesome, too. I still watch it and I still like it enough, but I agree that the later seasons just don't compare. And this season's story arc is just as bad as season 4, so I doubt you'd like it all that much.

    I actually stopped watching the screen when the Herpes commercial came on.

    If I'd been drinking anything, I'd have done a spit take when I realized Sam and Dean were in the ad.

    Just about half way through season 3, and, as much as I'm liking the show, I can't help but notice how often they use the "Dean is doing something horrible before the opening credits, but then we will reveal that it was totally justified/not at all what you think it was" gimmick.

    They love that set-up.

    I actually like that they went super low-key with werewolves. Humans with beast-eyes and claws is actually a really nice change from everything always being a big gorilla-wolf thing.

    Their vampires are still boring, though, but I suppose that can hardly be blamed on them.

    Both shapeshifter episodes, and the demon-plague thing.

    Also, this show keeps reminding me of how much I would love a Raven Shield-style FPS based on hunting down various monsters.

    Dean is the intense brother. He enjoys fighting the demons and then playing afterwards. You know once or twice he is going to slip and do something wrong.
