Hey so I heard a song recently that was really dark metal. The guy was singing about killing his ex girlfriends boyfriends. It was so over the top it was almost hilarious. I can't remember the band name though! Any help?

    "really dark metal" means very different things to different people.

    We can narrow it down a bit, though: were the vocals growled or clean?

    To answer both questions the song was on a buddies playlist, it didn't have the info data though so neither of us know what it is, just something he downloaded.

    As to the lyrics they were clean. the music itself was loud but if you listened you could easily understand the words. It was lyrical too, not just yelled statements into the microphone.

    Good to know, most of us wouldn't classify that as really dark metal. Anyway, do either of you have an iPhone? Just play it with Shazam running and see if it shows up. http://www.midomi.com/ also should work, although I've never actually used it.

    Alternatively upload it somewhere yourself and let us listen to it directly.
