Ugh I just played some gold rush and the other 2 were absolutely worthless. They did nothing but try to kill enemies, they didn't even make an attempt to go get the treasure. After 10 minutes of them just shooting endless spawning enemies and us only being on round 2 because I capped the treasure once, I left.

Shoot you an invite here in a bit. At least with one other compitent player we should be able to survive even with a pick up.

Ironically, the first time I ever played Gold Rush we got to round 5 which made me happy. Theres only 10 rounds, right? Will there be more in the full game?

Also, will there be more Boosters in the game? Because I see that my free Booster is called "Revenge Attribute" and thats not one of the Boosters in the beta.

Also, the American Idol boss is easy once you realize he likes gossip. Just get a full load of gossip and he'll rush off to verify what you've told him.

What pisses me off to no end is that the Boss With A Different Political Opinion Than You is a Gamestop pre-order bonus. That means that for everyone who likes loud, awkward, potentially job ruining political debate at the workplace is out of luck unless they put 5 smackaroos down at that store. I hate preorder bonuses

It's good how they had all those scenes of monotony - the photocopies churning out copies, the watercooler bubbling, the clickity clack of keyboards - mask the loading of the levels. Really slick.

The net code realy needs some work though. I honestly can't think of a single game in multiplayer where at least one player didn't get kicked. Only happend to me a couple of times in the first beta but of all the games Darkend and I played he didn't see the end of any but one chain reaction where we got steam rolled.

No probems on the Coop though. Other than that one issue though thuroughly enjoying the beta.

Yea, we beat round 10 in Gold Rush just fine, and then played 3-4 other matches of Gold Rush just fine, but once we switched to 5v5 it took a shit on me

Holy what the fuck was that tank on The Village? I never seen that before right now, and I was killed by its machine gun But the positive side to that is that I then went to where the tank spawned and I got the RPG launcher that comes up there and shot a guy in the face with it

There's also a helicopter in The Plaza. Haven't figured out if they're random, of if they're activated somehow.

yea, ive seen the Helicopter, but i've played village probably atleast 10 times and just seen it for the first time. I was standing right in front of the gate it breaks down, too. Was a pretty cool touch, though.

this is a different beta than the first beta, if thats the one youre talking about. the first one has been over for a long time now.

this new one has new maps and game modes and whatnot. to get access to it now you have to preorder at gamestop, or its going public on september 29th.

D'awww, shit! Oh well, the full game isn't too far away. Less than a month to go!

That reminds me, though; if I want to do co-op I'll probably need a better mic. The one that came with Warhawk is too soft. I could barely hear people in that game and others even if I turned the in-game audio option for that all the way up. Does anyone recommend anything better?

you can get good usb headsets cheap too, if you dont mind a cord. no batteries to mess with that way, also.

MAJOR complaint so far: It's like the game does the opposite of what it should with matchmaking. It puts the highest levels against the lowest ones almost every time.

if people are partied up doesnt it put them on the same team? thats what i was assuming anyway, because i kept running into the same group of really high leveled people the other night that were always on the same team and they were just steamrolling everyone.
