so i recently upgraded my desktop to the 64-bit version of Vista (to get my feet wet for Windows 7 later this year...)
i was already running Vista 32-bit but didn't bother too much to mess with the GUI. now that i look at the thing, i realize Vista's setup is sorta clunky and not utilitarian. so i'm looking for some good alternatives to make Vista nice looking AND useful.
i already run RocketDock and love it. if it weren't for the lack of native 64-bit support, RocketDock would be perfect. anyone know of any Dock programs that are natively 64-bit?
i've also been looking at Rainmeter, Konfabulator/Yahoo Widgets, and Samurize as options, but none of them seem to be natively 64-bit either. it's a little frustrating. and there's no way i will use Windows' own Gadget Sidebar, because the gadgets are also clunky and there's little to no community support.
does anyone have any suggestions to customize my precious little machine?
