I would advice against taking immodium if you do not absolutely have to. Depending on what is causing the diarrhea, thos kind of medications might be really bad for you. I do not want to say that you absolutely should not take them, they are very good if you need to travel, but like I said, try to avoid them if you can.
If you have only been drinking water, you might want to get some elektrolytes as well. There are special fluid replacement medication you can buy, taste a bit like a sports-drink.
There is also pro-biotic products that can help naturalise the intestinal fauna. Stuff like yogurt with beneficial bacterial content. These have helped me in the past.
If the fever has passed and you do not have any other problems, I would probably give it a few more days before thinking about the doctor. Of course, it is always a good idea to get checked up if you have the option, but it sounds like a pretty mild form of food-poisoning to me. If things get worse again, seek medical attention.

Go to your chemist, tell them your problem they will give you imodium or one of several blockers that'll stop the problem.
You may not be affected by them however so don't go running directly afterwards but they worked fine on me while I was on holiday, and I was going out every single night and drinking it up. The dude above me just mentioned that they could be bad for you but talk to your chemist.
The last three posts have all you need, basically.
Drink electrolytes - Pedialyte, Gatorade (although that's a lot of sugars too) or you can purchase electrolyte drinks or tabs from your local pharmacy. The tabs are real nice.
PROBIOTICS - Can't stress this one enough. Fresh yogurts, not that yoplait crap, but real yogurt, found at your local fresh food market such as Vitamin Cottage or Whole Foods. Also look for liquid or capsule form Acidophilus. It's the main active culture in yogurt in concentrated form. It will help regenerate your natural flora.
Bananas, and other fibrous foods. Leafy greens and the like. These'll make a huge difference. You should eat these on a regular basis in decent amounts. You'll be surprised how better you feel!
Edit: Last four - didn't notice Blaket's post in there.

immonium is quite safe and can be gotten over the counter without prescription.
The easy rule against diarrhoea is BRAT
Bananas
Rice
Apple(s)
Toast
add some boullion and pasta to the water you boiled rice and and you've got yourself some anti-diarrhoea-soup.
stay away from oranges and other fruits with lots of vitamin-C
Ya I was eating only rice and toast. I will get the bananas in there. My brother got me pepto-bismal this morning....good idea to take it? Im pretty sure its used for this kind of thing.
Electrolytes are sugared water drinks? I will see if I can find any.

Actually Electrolytes are more salts. Its the salts that retain fluid in your body. Too much straight water and nothing else can actually deplete your salts and allow you to get dehydrated easier. So yeah, gatorade, powerade, etc. as far as store brands go.
Ok thank you. I actually spoke with the pharmasist, taking the pepto-bismal or any other drug like thing for my stomach is actually a bad idea. Ill get on the food suggestions, thanks.
and if this DOESNT help, go to the doctor, and then push for a gastroenterologist to see you THE SAME DAY. If you feel weak, and I mean even slightly, go to the hospital. We ignored this and my father passed away last week because of the stress it put on his body.
To "cure" diarrhea:
1/4 cup of rice
1 cup of water
Cook the rice in the water (even overcook it) so the starch seeps into the water.
Strain off the water into a glass, drink the water that the rice was cooked in.
Eat the mushy rice with a little bit of honey or maple syrup.
Again, if that doesn't help, you have a more serious condition and you must go to the doctor.
