Basically, I'm interested in playing EU3 well. I have it and both expansions. Particularly I'm interested in playing a power that isn't a west european superpower.

In short, how the heck do you get colonists?

I haven't played EU3 (but I love CK), but have you tried looking around Paradox's forums? There's usually a lot of good info there.

I believe the "Search for the New World" (or something like that) is the big national idea that gets you started with colonizing. I've only played that late into the game in vanilla EU3, it may work slightly differently in In Nomine (I know they at least prevent you from getting colonists at the start of the game like originally). Other national ideas also help you get more colonists (and I think later events also influence your influx of colonists).

But they also changed it so that colonies grow naturally and you don't need to keep sending colonists (unless you want it t grow faster at the expense of other colonies).

The facehuggers want to play with you in the AvP LP. Facehuggers also want you to check out the TF2 cards here. View the in-progress RE mansion recreation for L4D here.
