Thank you for upholding the honor of Azeroth! You got...really drunk and....jumped off a tower? But that's not all! You ate a lot of food and....dressed up like a rabbit?
Wait, you dressed up like a gnome and killed a lot of people?
Ok screw this, you don't get a mount. Nope, we're all out.

A fresh chat thread, just in time for the holidays.
Drink and throw! Drink and Throw!
If thats not too complicated, the first couple of days of brewfest I had to explain to people how to attack the dark iron dwarves, kept seeing rouges try to FoK them. *facepalm*

There's yet another "find the scarce race/class combo" meta coming up for the Turkey Day holiday. You apparently have to find and shoot rogues of all races with a turkey gun or something.

Yes but here's the good news: no race restriction on PvP realms anymore.
I'm going to have a day where me and someone else are going to go and just make rogue alts of the less popular alliance rogue races (dwarfs, dwarfs, dwarfs)

Hey man, if you introduce enough alcohol into the situation a rogue is gonna try to FoK anything that moves. It's just a fact of life.
It's "piqued my interest" and the backstabbing class is spelled "rogue."

I really wish they'd take the speed off the mounts themselves and make it so that your riding skill applied to all mounts. It's pretty crappy that I'm sitting at 72 mounts and yet I only ever really ride a fraction of them because so many are slower non-epics or now in the flying mount case, I only ever ride the violet proto because of the speed.

My paladin has the violet protodrake.
He's actually a lot faster than the taxi.
Shit doesn't load fast enough for him to fly by.
I've already crashed the game once by using the restroom while auto-run was on.

Man, I hardly ever use taxis in BC/Wrath zones. The only thing they're good for is afking when you aren't sure you'll be back before you drastically overshoot your destination with auto-run.

Oh man, if my DK had the Violet Proto, zzzzzzzzzooooooooooooommmmmm. 330% speed, yes please.
Alas, the rogue's the main, so he gets it.
Maybe someday, if they make pets/mounts/such account-wide.

Or in the case of druids, only ever use flight form since it's instant and now includes 310% speed. At least it's not awful looking.

I'm about to make your day if you think a 310% mount goes 330% speed with crusader aura/DK talent.
It actually takes your normal speed (100%), adds the mount speed (310), then multiplies that by .2 and adds that much to the mount's speed.
So on a 310 mount with crusader/dk talent you actually go 392%. On my 280% epic flyers on my paladin I go 356% with crusader. If you have Carbonite and you're flying in a straight line you can open the map and it'll show you how fast you're going if you want to test the math.

Oh my good god.
Well now I really want them to make these things account-wide.
First thing I'm doing when I get my rusted drake is kicking Skyshatter's ass
I never managed to do it on my rogue before Wrath hit and I just can't seem to do it without a riding crop.
Hmm, I hadn't thought about going back and giving skyshatter a shot since I got my 310% speed mount. I guess it's worth it for the achievement points now.
And for the record, ever since I got mine the only time I hop on a flightpath in northrend or outland now is to clear my flag (lol pve server). My favorite game right now with my flying mount is "see how many people on flight paths you can overtake"
Guy in my guild was ranked "eats guilds" for a while because one day he got bored and joined some random guild that was recruiting in /trade. Then he demanded officer rank based on his gear and immediately started gkicking people until the GM kicked him out. It was pretty awesome.

Saw a warrior (yes, the same person) Bladestorming during multiple Dark Iron Dwarf invasions. It was almost cute enough for a /pat.
While I wouldn't mind a 6 digit gold total, I'm happy if I have enough to keep my alts flowing in alt specs and northrend flying (all but the DK have epic flying as it is).
I suppose Dalaran rings would be nice, but the Rogue already has one, and the other 9 can just do without unless I stumble across a small fortune before Cataclysm. As it stands, I've got about 8k to my name after doing a bunch of crafting/enchanting to make my druid more tank-like (and what a tank he is these days), and still need to pay 7k in dual spec fees, 7 in northrend flying, plus another 5.something for the DK to get flying and epic flying. So I guess I'm still about 12k short, though I suppose the pure DPS alts don't really need multiple specs.
Sure, they'd be nice, but it's not nearly as vital as being able to outright spec pure tank and/or healer, so if I really wanted to ignore them for now, I guess I'm only 9k short. While my playtime is limited, I'm sure that grinding a few more 80's out of the alt army would put a dent in that. Y'know, make them earn their keep.

First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKER!
If the brew of the month club only sends things every month, and I bought it on the third or fourth day of brewfest, that means there's no point trying to do absolutely every single achievement before the end of brewfest because I can't actually get the overall achievement until next year's brewfest, right?
Hope that made sense.

The achievement is just to be in the Brew of the Month club, so as long as you've purchased the membership, you're all set.

Actually Brew of the Year isn't part of the meta. You can still get Brewmaster this year.

The ammount of Joy that will spew from my being when that announcement is made....
Edit: Though I know what will happen when they do. All the stuff we currently have wont be grandfathered into the change.

I simply must go hyperspeed with my drake.
Better make him an officer.
