The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Years ago my family had a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, and there was a game that still sticks in my mind, but I can't remember the name.
The main character looks like a mix between The Fonz and Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2. The levels were made of breakable blocks, like World 1-2 in Super Mario Bros. As I recall every level had the same layout, just the blocks were coloured differently.
This has been driving me crazy for years, and I can't find it anywhere.
Alex Kidd is definitely colored breakable blocks, and each level has different colors, you can also break through the floors. But the levels are not really that similar (well, for the time they weren't).
There is this NES game about pirates, and you can play 2 player co-op where the screen is split horizontally. And there is a pirate ship level and when you see the 2nd player in the same are where you are, all you see are his pirate boots.

WHICH GAME IS THIS?!
Skull and Crossbones. If you skip to about 3:20 you'll specifically see them talk about the disembodied boots:
I've also had this problem. There was this game we played on the computers at school. It was someone's island. Some Dr. or Mr. He had a weird name. And you had to solve puzzles like the combination on a lock for a guy trapped in a pillory, and had to navigate a maze in the dark, and had to do that puzzle with the three poles and the different sized rings on it ( get the stack of rings from one pole to another in the right order ).
I really wish i could remember the name. I also don't remember if it was Mac or IBM we played it on.
