Wallpaper/Desktop Sites

I always looking to expand my current desktop/wallpaper collection. I'm just using a Macbook right now (1280 x 800), so I don't need any crazy dual-screen wallpapers or some exotic size.

I've been using InterFacelift and loving it. It has a thumbnail of the image, and I can simply view it in the resolution I want it in then save the file. I don't have to see a small thumbnail then download a .zip, locate it, extract it, select the resolution, dispose of the file, etc. (I'm thinking of you, HD Wallpapers) which is what I like about the site. Plus, I can favorite the files and see the community's feedback.

I'm asking for suggestions for sites of similar quality. Again, something easy to navigate - I don't want to spend days waiting for DeviantArt to load or simply find good desktops.

Thanks for the links, I've taken a look! I'm surprised there aren't a lot of responses with 50+ views - maybe there aren't that many great wallpaper sites. Any other ideas?

Also, I've always loved rainy pictures and the European countryside (living in the south of the U.S., I have to say that you can tell a difference between Europe and North America's country sides). I specifically think of Band of Brothers or Saving Private Ryan settings, if anyone has anything to share.

Nice reference :) I've skimmed the thread before, unfortunately. However, I did find several great wallpapers in it. Half of the websites suggested in the OP are DeviantArt and InterFaceLift (see above), and the other 2 are pretty abysmal... so the search continues.

4Walled. Not quite as awesome as the old 4scrape, but it's pretty sweet.

Be warned though: All those images are from 4chan, so it's probably fair to consider the entire site NSFW, even if you try filtering images.

http://www.caedes.net has been around for a long time, and is decent for nature photography. A lot of their wallpapers are a little old fashioned, but you can't go wrong with some nice photographs.
