    Basically, this movie is most likely going to suck no matter who you cast. Sometimes it seems like the more awesome the source material, the worse the movie.

    I remember Wizard used to always do casting calls for different comic book movies, back when comic book movies weren't being shelled out every year.

    I wonder if they still do that, it's been since the mid/late 90's since I read Wizard.

    Yeah I enjoyed it.

    I also didn't know until about the third time I watched it that V was voiced by Hugo Weaving.

    I just re-read Absolute Watchmen last week.

    I really can't see any way they could make this into a movie that captures half of the awesome you get out of the book.

    That said, I hope it is at least a decent flick.

    Maybe if they did like with the movies for the Lord of the Rings and decided to go as long as they had to, splitting it up into multiple films if necessary. And also, didn't they do The Stand as a miniseries? Might try that.
