    I loved Reboot!

    although at one point i missed the episodes where Enzo becomes like ridiculously jacked, so I came back and it was pretty confusing

    No matter how bad this is, it will never tarnish my childhood memories of this show. I remember telling my parents how excited I was for the next Reboot episode, because the commercial told me it was "action-packed". I didn't even know what that meant at the time, but it sounded cool.

    These are some of the earliest memories of my life.

    That teaser video is confusing. What city is this, that doesn't look a thing like mainframe.

    edit: and the gameblock has the wrong texture, and the sky looks more like an incoming game than that cube...

    the year Khoo came out to the NYC Comic-Con, they had a ReBoot panel with one of the original writers. he basically said that some of their inspiration came from a 1) local stripper and 2) a map of the plot drawn out on a bar napkin. so yeah.

    I am not really sure what to think about this.

    On one hand, fuck yes Reboot.

    On the other hand, Tony Jay (Megabyte) is dead.

    Also, what is the movie even supposed to be about? Are they making a movie to end the series? Is it some new story altogether? I am filled with questions!

    I will agree with that. However, we knew that Megabyte would return at some point and the whole thing with Daemon had to be resolved.

    true. but it felt rushed. i'm sure the Mainframe folks had a longer arc planned but ran into all the cancellation/budget problems. i really thought the whole Daemon arc could've been a lot more interesting given a few more episodes/movies.

    I really doubt Mainframe could EVER resolve the Megabyte plot properly, at least not in animation.

    This is beceause Tony Jay is dead, and I am very skeptical anyone could fill his shoes.

    The incredible crash dummies has a pretty awesome terrible-pun-filled single movie, and I don't think they ever got a series out of that one. I think it was by the same people? Really great, though. Not the game, that was genuinely impossible.
