So I was cooking some stir-fry yesterday, and I decided to throw in a cow horn (think a large cayenne). It was just one, so I didn't wear gloves, just washed my hands afterward. While the veggies were steaming, I decided to play some Monster Hunter on my PSP. I think you can see where this is going: I got some of the capsaicin oil on my PSP, and now it burns to play it. I'm pretty sure I can just use rubbing alcohol to remove the oil, but before I do, is there going to be any problems with it damaging the plastic? Is there another way to remove the oil?

I really am surprised this has nothing to do with your penis and you are dang lucky.
I can't imagine rubbing alcohol will do anything to your psp if you use just a cloth/cottonball/q-tip with it to remove the stuff.
I mean as long as you use common sense and don't just pour it all over you should be fine.
Actually it really did happen;I was playing wipeout in between classes today when my fingers started to burn. It took me a while to figure it out, but when I realized they only burned from where I was holding it, I thought to myself "Ohhh........screw it, just one more race."

This seems like instead of a problem, this just creates another layer of difficulty in PSP games you play
As a former game tester I approve of that statement.
In all seriousness though I would try a damp cloth first, then move on to rubbing alcohol if that doesn't do the trick. Might want to cut the alcohol with some water. That stuff is strong and might make your eyes/fingers burn too.

Yes. Yes he is.
Used to work as a cook. Had a lot of orders for Suicide wings on wing night once. Washed my hands twice before I went to the bathroom on a break. It was not enough hand-washing.

Unless OP has open cuts on his fingers, rubbing alcohol should cause him no problems. I've used it undiulted many times to clean old thermal paste off CPUs when changing heatsinks, and it's never caused me any issues.

I always remember the boy coming back into food tech class from having a piss with a red face looking mighty uncomfortable. How are you liking the chillis on your Pizza now big man?

Rubbing alcohol should work, but capsaicin is not miscible in water so a plain damp cloth would be a waste of time. I know this from personal experience when I was playing around with a bunch of jalapenos while cooking dinner and no rinsing would work. Eventually I washed my hands with canola oil and that got rid of the burning enough that I could sleep.

Caspsaicin dissolves in alcohol (which is why beer works better than water when you've eating something spicy) so rubbing alcohol is the way to go.

Also, this thread title is fantastic.
Just kidding. Yeah, just rub carefully with alcohol? I always heard a mixture of bleach is what neutralizes capsaicin.
