Here's a question for any Canadian lawyers or law students out there. What's a good supplementary text for your basic income tax law class? I have the Edgar/Sandler Materials on Canadian Income Tax casebook, but it's not enough. I'm looking for the income tax law equivalent to Peter Hogg's Constitutional Law of Canada.
I've been eyeing two Carswell publications: Principles of Canadian Income Tax Law, and Fundamentals of Income Tax Law
If anyone has experience to share with either of those, or has other suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them.
