Weird net connection, red light!

So I'm on a DSL line, using Bell's facilities
my provider is primus
my modem is a thomson TG585
and I accidenly unplugged the modem's phone line, plugged it back in, now red light.
Tried reconfiguring it and everything, still red light. How strange!
So now I'm grabbing the net off a neighbour until I can figure out how to fix it. It's not even blinking or anything, just a solid red on the internet light, green for broadband.
Nevermind, tech support saved the day. Turns out it was something weird on their end.
