Hi,

I need to make a graph using excel. Unfortunately my teacher didn't tell anyone how to do this. I could do it if I had the data. But, all I have is this Column Length = [0.0166 x T] + 4.105

What am I supposed to do with that? I really have no idea. Any help is appreciated.

    length = y
    T = x

    Graph it, drop some of the solutions into a spreadsheet, and use Excel's graph generator. If your teacher complains, say the objectives were unclear. Unless they were clear and you misunderstood. Double check. :P

    edit: f(x) = 0.0166x + 4.105

    Step one, get some values
    [
    set Column B
    =0.0166*A1 + 4.105...

    set Column A
    A1 = 1
    A2 = A1+1...
    ]

    Step 2 Highlight column B
    Step 3 hit Alt+i
    Step 4 Alt+h
    Step 5 Punch teacher in face for giving vague retarded assignment.
    Step 6 drop class

    Start Excel, Press F1, Type Chart, hit enter.

    For real, Microsoft Office help docs are actually fairly detailed and very helpful. People overlook them far too often which is a shame, because 99% of the time, I get my answers for excel via the help doc.
