issue logging into NFS: Underground (360)

I get the message "Cannot connect to EA NAtion. You must be signed into EA Nation in order to access the online features of this title." when I try to play Need For Speed Underground on my 360. I talked to EA support, and they said to do a tracert to easo.ea.com. I just get unknown host for everything when I use the Ultima Online Trace Route (what they recommended to use). I get the same thing if I just use tracert in Windows. I can however ping that address no problem (weird). EA said to open a bunch of ports in my router, but I really dont see how that would help as I have another account in NFS Underground and it works fine. If the other account works fine, then WTF? Also, the problem only seems to happen during the day. Later at night it works fine. I have NFS Shift, which I think also connects to EA Nation, and have no problems with that. Can someone help?
