    and knowing my dad, I would be disappointed if there wasn't a racy flick in there somewhere.

    My mom just told me a story this morning about my dad having connections, and that's how he was able to get all the films on reel that he had. He apparently told stories about the FBI knocking on some of his friends' doors regarding films. What the fuck?

    man, I was just thinking earlier today about how fucking great Citizen Kane was

    it is such a goddamn good movie

    I am so glad I had my film classes that made me watch awesome shit like it and The 39 Steps and Casa Blanca and The Third Man and The Maltese Falcon and all that good shit.

    Funny you should mention CK and Casablanca, I just found the 16mm copies of those in the basement and brought them up. Casablanca has a bunch of postage on it. Someone mailed that thing to my dad from the Connecticut University Library at "library rates" (there are like three stamps on it, hahahaha)

    It was random 60s gal titties. Oh well. There was a good voice over and it was a funny spoof, so it was worth it for the floppy flapjacks.

    So I was looking through reels downstairs. We have a reel copy of Psycho!
    Then I found 8mm copies of Nosferatu (abridged), Metropolis (lol it's like 12 reels long), and D.W. Griffith's Intolerance.

    Holy damn! Also a huge collection of Laurel and Hardy shorts.
