We should get together at the Black Dog or something.
Cause it's easily one of the best bars on Whyte.

I don't own tight enough jeans to get into Black Dog.
But yea, we should get together on Whyte somewhere.

Tight jeans? What?
It's like... last time I went there it was with a group of people from work.
Regular jeans and button-up shirts all around.
No idea what people wore when -you- went there.
Last time I went to Black Dog, like 2 years ago, it was full of the indiest of indies. Maybe they've all moved on now.

The Black Dog used to have good Guinness on tap and was a great place to lounge with friends. Has that somehow changed? It was a great spot for the 2002 World Cup.
My problem with Black Dog is that we always seemed to get there too late to get a booth and ended up sitting on the crappy stools across from the bar where people bump into you constantly.
Has anyone ever gone to the Druid on Jasper? Is it any good? I kinda want to go there.
The Druid had a very "be older than twenty five and not a tosser, please" vibe to it when I went, which spoke well. That was years ago though so who knows where it's at now.

Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie have another song (well, several actually). This one's the Alberta Anthem, which in the style of an old German war anthem (which I can't find on the Internet so you'll just have to deal): Alberta uber alles King Ralph our top banana
Your cities much like Dallas
While the rest is like Montana
May your fields be ever wheaty
And your cattle ever meaty
Let us crush, crush, crush all our enemies!

Yeah, it seemed like a good bar the times I've been recently. Music's reasonably quiet (and good), you can converse, and they have decent beer on tap.
I mean if you have a better suggestion, by all means.
Come to America
your maps are terrible
Not on the level of Filthy McNasty's, but at least Filthy's has cheap pints
Edit: Who all is in or from Edmonton, or the general Alberta area?
but Calgary doesssss
Dear satan I wish for this or maybe some of this....oh and I'm a medium or a large.

Without the things that make Texas awesome

I am only here for 2 more months.
God, being here for 4 months is 4 months too long.
They're pretty vicious around those parts.
Now I see why you call The Black Dog an emo/hipster bar.
That's called 'clean'. It's a scary smell, I know, but you'll get used to it.
And those clothes? We call that 'moderately well-dressed'.
I'm sorry, I'm in a foul mood right now.
