Toxic, it's mostly cause I don't want to vote for Dj, being a rebel and going against the grain and all that.

Also, I needed to vote for somebody.

Stavros "The Colloidial" Silver wiped his brow, and put down his tools. It was about time to head back, the ship would be leaving in a couple of hours. Just a final check to see if there was anything else of note...

A small area of dull metal could be seen in the dirt where he dug. He reached down and brushed the muck away, revealing it to be quite a solid disk. Not quite like anything he found before, and this thing didn't look like it could kill anyone! An interesting find? He flipped it over, found a button, and pressed it.

    Hmmmmmmm

The object slowly groaned into life, a small image of a man appearing ontop of it.

"Well, hey. Is this working? I don't usually use these." it was understandable, but a very bizarre dialect of the common language. "Ok, if someone is viewing this then that's good news, and if you can understand what I say, then that must mean we won! What a thought, it would make all this worth it, to have some people get out at the end. But, if you found this, that means that you came back, which suggests that we've been forgotten, and since I have another 15 cycles to wait before they return, I'd better give you a warning.

My name is Graham Vonbear, but they usually call me Gumpy. I was a part of the Universal fleet, and now I'm part of the last line. We are the Glorious People, the Immortal people, and our civilisation was near perfect. Age, no longer an issue. We ran the farthest, jumped the highest, reached the furthest. End of the tech tree you could say, but you can never really stop progress, right?

The one last fear, Death, was the target. Not just immortality, as we don't get old, but actual Death. The Idea of Death? The Place? The entire possibility that, by some freak accident, you could pass on. We aimed to get rid of it. Our brightest theorised that Death was simply a sort of dimensional jump to another plane taken by the soul, and if we found that plane, we could open a gate right up into it. You die, you'd just be able to come back. The last hurdle. So what went wrong?

The project, and the planet it was based on, wiped clean of everything. Seems like there was some sort of Higher power that drew a line at us trying to make death invalid, we call them the Grimm, the Swarm, The Black. You get the idea, they'd probably slapped the wrists of many a golden civilisation that tried to break down the final door, maintain some sort of universal balance. This was our wrists being slapped, and it stung. But eh, what's one planet lost in a thousand?

But we hold a grudge, so we tried it again, and this time when they came, we fired a Solar. Reality Breaker, one of our big guns. The Old Gods came, and we punched them in the face. And now, here we are, on our last world, with a last attempt to get some people beyond the swarms reach. Small bands of Humanity scattered across Space and across the dimensions, try to hide them. We didn't go down quietly, the Swarm has lost nearly all its strength, but they outlasted us. So, I guess what I want to be saying is, don't dick with death, there are some sort of lines you should never cross. Probably our fault for escalating our situation, and even now some people are setting up a couple of final projects, seeds that'll grow to avenge us. We probably should just quit.

Eh, funny world. 6 Cycles left till the Swarm should come again, I better get going. Hope this worlds a pretty place by the time you find this."

    The image vanished.

    The vote is closed.

He just was the one who decided to leave a message and stop anyone else from doing it!

Time to Go, the Ship's warming up its engines.

"You are not getting out of this alive!" Mycroft Diablo yelled, as he and Kime charged across the Landing Zone. "You've killed so many, there will be vengeance and we will be its representatives on this god-damn hell-hole!"

"Oh ho?" Mused Dangerous Dave. "You really think you have what it takes?" the red band around his neck shone, and with one movement he threw every part of his considerable collection of weaponry into the air, before catching each in turn and firing at his assailants. Kime could do nothing as a beam either made out of pure heat or pure hate lanced towards him, unable to dodge in time.

    "NO!"

Mycroft threw himself in the way, shield activating. Under the Barrage, he melted away. A yellow blur charged through Mycroft's still evaporating body and brought a glowing hammer down on Dangerous Dave's head. There was an explosion of light.

Mad Malcolm MacFadden stood at the side of the crevice as Raif and John Doe approached from behind. "I am loyal, until the end. You will get nothing from me."
"Not really expecting you to give us anything." chuckled Raif. "We just want your collection. So, go on, hand it over."
    "You'll get nothing."
"That's the answer I was hoping for!"

"I will serve the house of Makina until the end!" Malcolm yelled as he raised his Nightmare Flame and fired, only to be cut down in one smooth Blue Blur. John Doe ducked just in time, his visor letting out a strong violet glow.

Ahava Stuart quickly attempted to understand the device in her hands, to input some sort of firing code. This was not how she wanted it to end, it was her only chance. Babaganoosh Longjohnson made sure that she'd never complete the process, Green Hands withdrawing the blade from her back.

The rest of the survivors collected at the ship, dusting themselves off. The engines powered up, and it started to lift into the air. The Butler ran towards it as it lifted into the air, "You can't leave without me! I'm the captain! I organised this entire trip!"

With one line he had managed to draw attention to the he had brought them all here. There was laughter, and then he was mercilessly gunned down.

    The dead
shalmelo as Mad Malcolm MacFadden - Servant of the House of Makina
Micro as Mycroft 'Friendly-Fire' Diablo - Adventurer Extraordinare
Lonelyahava as Ahava stuart - Archaeologist
dunedainjedi as The Butler - The Captain

    The Rich Rich Winners

    Toxic Toys as John Doe
    Dogbone33 as Babaganoosh Longjohnson

With a Value of 975 Between them!

Daius and Duna together can't quite beat Dogbones massive stash, as he is the richest player by far with 625 Value of items on him at the end, so his alliance to TT Overrides there's.

Hotran as Dangerous Dave, Murder King, with I believe, 3 Confirmed Kills

The Adventurers - Toxic/Daius/Dunadan are the richest combined faction at game end, so they get a prize anyway!

    Game end!

Sweet. Finally a REAL phalla victory. TT hey sorry about the blind alliance, but I didn't want to deal with all the paranoia and to be honest I threw it on ya just yesterday.

Loser I'm sorry our well wrought plans didn't pan out into a faction victory for us. I'm honestly surprised neither of us won the murder king crown.

Hey, how did dropping hints about your role PM to the thread go for you guys

The Role PM's that were all 100% unique

All players started off with 50% attack, 20% defence

No one stole anything the entire game, so the only way of hitting someone's value was killing them

None of the 5 seers (Seers being a random treasure on day 1) ever seered for items, only for faction

On night 4, when Major Items started going out (Value 75 Items), about 80% of all remaining players got one due to RNG love

All the rest of the time, the RNG gave out Mindmelds. So many Mindmelds.
