This is the UFL thread. The UFL is a league that began on October 6th, and includes 4 teams from Las Vegas, California, Florida, and New York. The championship is scheduled for November 27th and the Tuskers (of Florida) have already clinched a spot in the game with their 4-0 record. So the question is who will be the team to lose to Florida in the first ever UFL Championship? Also, who will watch it, even though there are no other professional sporting events scheduled for that evening?

Some of you might be wondering what makes the UFL the better league. For starters, there's the Tuck rule.

It doesn't exist in the UFL. Instead, the play is called a fumble, and the defense can recover it.

They're perfectly fine, so long as they remain in the end zone or on the bench.

Also there's the overtime. In the UFL, each team is guaranteed at least one possession. So if one team scores, the other has a chance to tie or beat them by scoring more.

Let us discuss the UFL, the greatest of all profession football leagues!

    Sounds worse than regular football. Four teams doesn't make for a very interesting season.

    Awesome rules. Too bad this will get swallowed up by the NFL like every other league that's tried this. A league of four teams plus less talented players doesn't equal success.

    Intentional grounding - A quarterback is allowed to intentionally ground the ball to avoid a sack, provided he gets the throw back to the line of scrimmage. He does not have to be outside the pocket to do so.

    Terrible.
    Overtime - Instead of the sudden-death overtime approach used by the NFL, the UFL's overtime rules ensure that both teams get at least one possession. Therefore, if one team scores on the opening drive of OT, the opposing team has the chance to equal that score, or surpass it if the first team's first drive resulted in anything less than a touchdown and 2-point conversion. If the score remains tied after 15 minutes, the game ends in a tie.

    Way better than the NFL's stupid overtime.

    Why would they put spikes on the ball.

    Sometimes I hate fantasy artwork just for all the unnecessary spikes everywhere.
