Ok so the post delay between posts is a good thing. prevents spam. But sometimes you get that little "wait a second pal" screen and you lose what you typed. Now let's say you wrote some long insightsful dirge on western civilisation in responce to a troll's flaming... but a second ago you posted something else. Now the dirge is gone, and because some catchy anime ost is blasting in the background, you forgot what you wrote.
so... can the "wait a second pal" screen have like an option to post what you wrote when the time is up? Or instead of a screen could there be a popup or summat?

but like I said, sometimes the magic back button isn't so magical. Like I didn't sacrifice enough human lives or something. Yes the temporal function of back works to return me to where I began, but then it worked too well and it returned me to the point before I wrote what I wrote
Ecoterrorism is actually the single largest terrorist threat at the moment. They don't usually kill people, but they blow up or set on fire very expensive things.

I used to have problems with back not working in IE, it's never been a problem in Firebird
The only time it doesnt restore my post when I hit back is when it reloads the page. That onyl happens when I have cleared my temporary internet files in a while.
Just hit Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C to copy your post to clipboard if you are worried about losing it. I do this by habit now. Clicking back has never worked in my experience.

It was the forum. Ironic, but not done on purpose.

the back button works for me, but the thing COULD have a little button that lets you try after your time is up.
or you know, you could just get rid of the timer on cross foruming posters like myself

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

the whole contol c... thing. I was just making this as a suggestiong to makes things here easier. I mean yes that can be done, and the whole here to help thing didn't need to be added, everyone could go looking for what mod's online too. it's just a suggestion to make things better
I do it all the time. And back does screw up sometimes. Still, could be worse. MG boards log you out after a period of activity, which really screws you over

The forums are still unable to beat my unbeatable highlight-copy combo, however.
it resubmits your post until the forums accept it
It can also sometimes result in double posts. I once triple posted, so far I haven't seen a quadruple post.
Same here, and I've used Firebird, Opera, and Avant as well. The back button works in those, too.

I've been trying to reach you, but your extension cord doesn't reach that far.
In a sense.
You just posted what we were going to before we were able to.
