Cutethulhu the Cocktopus

This is the [chat] Mascot, Cutethulhu the Cocktopus.

He traveled around the world over the space of over three years. He started out from Seattle in late September 2009 and returned to Seattle on December 21, 2012. For those of you who participated - THANK YOU!

Thanks to @Quid, we know (approximately) how far the Yarny One traveled.
Alright, assuming I got everything correct the grand total is 82,821.32 miles. Which doesn't include trips that took place in the same city or in one case where Cutethulhu went from Stuttgart, Germany to Germany cause that makes no sense.

Longest trip was 11,222.59 miles from Chattanooga, Tennessee to Daejeon, South Korea.

Google Maps does not recognize the existence of Wesley Chapel, Florida.

[chat] voted on his form, [chat] voted on his name (sort of), and now a large chunk of [chat] is going to be mailing has sent him around the world, in the style of the travelling gnome.

Why? To connect with people you talk to every day. To learn about and see cool places around the world. To have a cute octopus for a while. To be a camwhore. To be part of something bigger. Because it's cool. :^:

You really shouldn't use [chat] in that way in title.

Also, you should totally add me in between Sabs and James, since I'm in the middle of them anyway.

    [Edit]
Also, also, it looks way more blue in your photos than in your hand. Wow.

I look forward to the 'pus, and I hope that I can borrow my friend's awesome camera for the event. Depending on the timing, I may take him to the shore to visit my parents. How long should we keep him for? I imagine most people would want him over a weekend for maximum site-seeing.

I may keep him a little longer. Due to our lack of Canadian volunteers I'll want to escort the octopus around both Vancouver and Nanaimo.

Though I'm not expecting to get him until... spring 2010?

There's a sizable number of PAers in Toronto. When Sabs gets it, I'm sure between the bunch of us we can get a decent number of pictures from various parts of the city and province of Ontario. Hopefully that makes up for the overall lack of Canadian involvement.
