[WoW] Tell Us About Your Realm

Every WoW server is different, almost like a nation with its own distinct culture and customs that everyone soon picks up on. So what's your realm like? Or if you don't play anymore, what do you remember about it? For instance I hear Illidan (US) takes shit way too seriously with lots of intra-guild/PvP drama.
On Destromath (US), one thing that always seemed to surprise newcomers is that, at level cap, we always roll "need" on BoE drops, with occasional exception if it's a purple that someone can use or if an enchanter really needs the mats. Our rationale is that if it's BoE (especially green), it shouldn't be an upgrade for you. Our most well-known guilds are Colonial Space Marines (Horde) and Momentum (Alliance), although they're not really active anymore. We're known for doing pretty decent pugs and are relatively easy on casual raiders. As in we tend to give everyone a chance in heroics/raids without requiring that they have the achievement or a certain gearscore to qualify (although we will inspect because we're not idiots).
We also aren't known for really taking PvP or guild drama too personally, so you usually won't see people refusing to raid with others of a certain guild because of some feud or stalking enemy players over of a cheap gank. We WILL badger ninjas to death though. These included a druid that ninja'd the Grand Black War Mammoth from VoA and a warrior that ninja'd DST from Gruul's back in TBC and I remember they were all promptly harassed, kicked out of raids (including WG) until many of them were forced to transfer to another server.

It will always be my favourite.
We have some horrible raid progression, The server is like... 1000 ally to 8000 horde (I play horde). The only thing the alliance has going for them is 20 stacks of tenacity in WG Always, and having a top alliance guild, like within the top 25 in the world, if I remember correctly.
I really can't describe the users of it. Probably even more Anal jokes than on Skullcrusher :P
