    ahhh just the thread i wanted to see.

    so i got a pretty decent monitor from my poppa. and it was working wonderfully two days ago. was duel-monitoring.

    but then today i boot up and the monitor says NO SIGNAL. CHECK VIDEO CABLE.

    and i do that, it's all plugged in and i'm like Damn. help me please

    Are you sure your computer is still extending your desktop to the second monitor? If you haven't checked your desktop properties and your video card properties, start with that.

    yeah start menu is where it's at

    and thanks, Jedoc. it's started working for some reason now. I think it was just that I had to boot up and set up the screen at the same time

    i am currently rotating through a folder of wallpapers from interfacelift.com

    Some dude cooked up a lightweight little .exe that tracks your cursor movements as well as when it's not moving. The dots are when it's stationary, so I used it on Friday while I was at work and that's how it turned out, with the largest dot being my lunch break. It's pretty rudimentary, only sort-of supports multiple monitors, but it was pretty neat so I figured some folks here might get a kick out of. If anyone wants I can link to the creator's thing so people can do it themselves.
