Just read punisher: the list. And I really liked it. Never read punisher much, only picked it up because dark reign. not at all what i expected. no idea whats in store for the character in the long run, but now i am interested.

While not a big fan of the character, he is, in my opinion, in the select list of comic book characters who simply needed no alteration regardless of time. Much like when re-booting the franchises in the DC universe in the mid 80s after Crisis, they simply needed to keep Batman the way he was (I just feel sorry Miller altered Catwomen).

Figure out how to make the archtype work in different stories (and Frank Castle has not being completely mined of interesting situations). Please save Frankencastles to alternative universes regardless of how good / bad the end result is.
