This painting is supposedly by Luca Giordano (a famous artist) and is supposedly called "The Death of Centaur Nessus" (or "la muerte del centauro nesso" in Spanish). However, I can't find a trace of this painting existing anywhere on the internet. Given how extensive the internet is, it seems like my information is crossed.
Are there any art aficionados who could identify this painting and possibly point me to a direction where I can find out more about it?
Okay, despite not knowing a word of Spanish I found some stuff eventually!
Here is an archive.org site featuring information about a digitised 1910 list of the Museo del Prado's collection (the original book is at the University of Toronto)
And this is the exact page where it mentions the fact that Giordano Luca's "La muerte del centauro Neso" is a part of their collection (it is #193 out of 199 of Giordano's paintings they own; the list starts at page 33)
The reason there are very few google results seems to be a combination of the fact that the Museo del Prado (in Madrid) isn't particularly up to date on digitising its collection, along with the fact that the painting's spanish name varies from site to site (Nesso/Neso, muerte/muerto)
FYI the most google results seem to come from searching for variations on the Spanish title; you can find more pictures of it in there too.
Oh sweet, and here is a translated page with a decent-sized explanation/analysis of the painting itself
the english translation is terrible though
there was a short summary on another site, too:
"The Baroque painter Luca Giordano made several of his works in Spain. In this painting represents the moment of death of the centaur Nessus, pierced by an arrow of Hercules after he tried to abduct the wife of the latter, Deyanira."
searching for "la muerte del centauro neso" seems to yield the best results

This website agrees with you on the name
It doesn't really have any other info though.
