Here are the previews for Marvel's February books. I'll update this post when full solicits are posted.

So apparently Magneto has reached full buddha according to that uncanny cover. And that Pixie book sounds awful. Xforce: Warpath and wolverine look kinda girly. And Dark X-Men isn't going the way I feared so ya!

Pixie's dad is probably Black Tom.

CP Smith is doing some work again, that's cool. I like his art.

    DARK X-MEN #4 (of 5)
    Written by PAUL CORNELL
    Penciled by LEONARD KIRK
    Cover by MIKE CHOI
What has X-Man done to Norman Osborn? Whatever it is, it must be extreme because the Dark X-Men are making a journey into Osborn’s mind to fix it! But once they’re in, can they survive the depths of madness they find in the dark corners of Norman’s mental minefield?
    32 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99
"'These are my all-new, all-different X Men,' Professor Xavier said."
    32 PGS./Parental Advisory …$3.99

This literally sounds like the best thing ever. I hope they get attacked by a pregnant Gwen Stacy wearing a Goblin outfit or something.

They are so going to have to confront the Goblin persona head on, that will be delightful. Going to be this all over again.

    Gods. Hitman Monkey.

You know, people can complain about Deadpool's overexposure all they want, but if they keep having him fight monkeys in suits, and teaming up with U.S. Archer to fight anthropomorphic redneck raccoons, I'm gonna keep buying his books.

    NEW MUTANTS #10
    Written by ZEB WELLS
    Penciled by PAUL DAVIDSON
    Cover by ADAM KUBERT
    Special Variant by TBA
Why do the New Mutants exist? Why are they a team? Cyclops runs the X-Men as one giant army, not separate squads. So, why do the New Mutants exist as a squad? The answer isn’t what you expect.
    32 PGS./Rated T+ …$2.99

I too often ask myself this.

And on a not being-mean-to-New Mutants note: It honestly surprised me that it took this long for someone to bring Proteus back

Bah, Moon Knight is Batman-lite. He can go hang out with new Superman-lite some more and talk about being crazy and fall in love like the other Superman-lite and other Batman-lite did in that other comic universe. Vague? I think so too.

And Rich should really stop stealing bandwidth. Tsk tsk.

    NOVA #34
Written by DAN ABNETT & ANDY LANNING
    Penciled by ANDREA DI VITO
    Cover by BRANDON PETERSON

A REALM OF KINGS TIE-IN—GUEST-STARRING MR. FANTASTIC AND BLACK BOLT! On a world of dark sorcery, Nova and his surprising allies battle the ancient evil of the Sphinx, but what are they really fighting for? The Human Rocket could rewrite the course of history and save thousands of lives—including the life of his true love. But should he, or is the alternative too terrible to contemplate? Classic foes, great guest-stars and more cosmic thrills await you in the next issue of the series that Aint It Cool News calls “Bar none, one of the consistently best comics Marvel puts out…Those of you who aren’t checking this one out should be ashamed of yourselves."

Magus with a really nasty grin on his face, so he's probably coming back. Now, if he's coming back, it seems likely to me that Cosmo, Mantis, Gamora and Matyr could return to us as well (did I miss anybody out there?)

I notice that Cable #23 is the "penultimate issue". Hopefully that means that with #24 they'll be bringing Hope back to present day and finally resolving the issue of who she is once and for all.
They couldn't make her Jean after all this time, could they?

Solicits do spoil stuff too easily. EIther make Jeff Parker write them all or get a better editor to do so. Like the Nova solicit could have easily said "guest starring members of the FF and Inhumans" to keep it vague.

    About that Nova Cover
We do not know whether if its the actual black bolt or just a echo of him coming from the fault. The issue before the feb tells a little about that.
