Memory troubles.

I've recently noticed myself having recurring memory issues.

So far this has come in a few forms from what I can tell. Often, I will have trouble remembering casual conversation, specifically who I know saying what, where, and when. Like, I will know it is a friend but I can't quite place exactly who unless I ponder on it for a little. I have to sort of piece together the events and circumstances around the conversation, and try and deduce which of the people I know would speak about something like that, or if it is their style of speaking. This hasn't occurred with anything important yet, so I'm not really worrying about this, yet it's still alittle troublesome.

Another way this is manifested is that I have problems remembering everything I'm taking with me when I leave home for school/work or just out for miscellaneous reasons. It always seems to be at least one thing. Usually I try and make sure to have absolutely everything ready before I go waiting to just be picked up and taken with me, but still, it seems often enough that I'll let something slip. I'm a photographer and I even have forgotten my camera sometimes, which is odd for me since I take it pretty much everywhere I go. This memory issue can be especially irritating, as I bus most places, and it can mean missing a bus.

I'm not sure why this is the way it is. I'm 29 years old, so still not that old. I'm on anti depressants(not sure if that's relevant). I do smoke marijuana occasionally but not nearly enough for significant memory troubles. I do have some difficulty with stress in my life, so I suppose that could be related, I'm not really sure.

Thoughts?

Stop doing drugs, eat healthy food, reduce the cell phone usage.

Hear my warnings, unbelievers. We have raised altars in this land so that we may sacrifice you to our gods. There is no hope in opposing the inevitable. Put down your arms, unbelievers, and bow before the forces of Chaos!

Ask whoever prescribes you the antidepressants about it to see if it's common for people on that drug, completely ignore the comment about cellphone usage, and I doubt that diet would have any effect on memory short-term either. It's possible but quite unlikely that you have some condition that makes you unusually effected by marijuana, I doubt unless you do it more than a few times every week that it would though.
Make a list of stuff that you need to take with you and add anything that you forget, keep it in your wallet and check over it each time you leave the house. Set alarms on your watch or cellphone for buses.

Memory loss is sometimes a symptom of depression. Talk to the doctor who prescribes your anti-depressants about possibly changing your medication or adding something to your current meds.
