Please help me find an article about Super Metroid

I read an article about Super Metroid recently that laid out a really thick interpretation of the game's meaning. It went into vast detail about the role of female empowerment and all sorts of other themes that might not have even been intended by the designers. Although it came across as a little far-fetched, it was still pretty interesting and I seem to have lost the link. Does this ring any bells with anyone?

I thought maybe it was on Metroidvania, but I couldn't find it, and wound up linking to some articles about Shadow Complex, which is a game I love, and then I found out Orson Scott Card, who came up with the universe the game is set in, and whose books I love, is a raving homophobe... it's a big, crazy, scary internet out there.
