Looking for a good recent FPS for the 360 that has 4 player split screen and computer bots. Been playing MW2 with the roommates and we are bummed that you can't have bots in split screen, playing 2 on 2 capture the flag just seems lacking.

I'm not too familiar with the following, but try looking into these:
    - Unreal Tournament 3
    - Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
    - Halo 3

    Halo 3 doesn't have bots

also Perfect Dark will be coming out for XBLA eventually

I would recommend Gears 2 but that's only 2 players per box.

    It's all about the MW2 4 player free-for-all man.

When you've only got 3 other plays, you may as well just play free-for-all. It's faster paced and more tense as well, and the maps are really well suited for it.

Halo 3 free-for-all is really fun as well.

But as for good multiplayer games on consoles, nothing beats a sports game like FIFA or NFL/NHL/NBA etc.

Also if you're gonna play Halo splitscreen, pick up ODST, because you can play 2 player splitscreen in Firefight, and the included Halo 3: Mythic disc has all the Halo 3 DLC maps on it playable from disc.

In particular the maps Cold Storage (free on XBL if you want to download it now), Foundry (part of the Heroic Map Pack, also free) play well for small groups. And you can edit Foundry into an even smaller map. The map "Sandbox" is in the Mythic Map Pack (which costs money, but comes 'free' on the Mythic disc) which can also be edited to make small maps to your liking.

I think I remember GRAW 1/2 having 4 player split with bots.

If you have an old school xbox around - timesplitters 2 was the greatest multiplayer fun I have ever had - we used to do multiplayer plus bots all the time - like every night for 8 months.

Yeah, i have all the timesplitters for the gamecube and enjoy them a ton, just was hoping for modern games graphically.

Is the new perfect dark pretty similar to the original multiplayer wise? Or am I better off just waiting for the graphic remake to be released?
