Hi Everyone,

I switched gears for my final sculpture project, and again, I'm throwing myself to you. I know I want to make a chicken wire sculpture for the shape, but I want to put a latex or rubber-like smooth finish over it. I also want it bright pink.

My only thoughts were that I could paper mache the chicken wire, and goop latex over it... good idea? I also know you can't really paint latex. So any ideas? Am I going about this the right way?

You can paint latex. Buying a jug of casting latex and go nuts. You can also dye the latex before you paint it on.

You are wonderful. Thanks for the tips in both my threads!

You learn weird fucking skills in the theatre/entertainment industry.

edit: Test your painting technique. Getting a really smooth surface will be more difficult, but not omgimpossible.
