I've stuck with my ex for the last few years and I was lucky that she got an IUD.
After starting to frisky once more I'm having a ton of problems adjusting to using condoms. So far I've purchased the thinnest type I can possibly buy (in my sizing), and have tried lubing the inside of the condom. Unfortunately it seems that I can't keep a hard on for very long because of how it feels.
Does anyone have an suggestions on how I can adapt to using a condom ? I'm using it for both oral and penetrative sex.
Also - I do not wish to use sheep skin because of the type of girls i'm bringing home.

???
...Vegans, maybe? Only thing I can think of.
Although to be honest, OP, as I girl I rarely notice what's on the outside of the package in the heat of the moment - and I've never been able to tell whether a condom is sheepskin or latex. That said, there are some pretty thin polyurethane (I think) ones if you wanna try that out.
To clear things up, i'm seeing new girls and am on the rubber. I'm just trying to figure out how to get used to the rubber. This thread is solely for my own pleasure
As for the reason why I don't want to use lambskin, here's an excerpt from Wiki:
Lambskin
Condoms made from sheep intestines, labeled "lambskin", are also available. They provide more sensation and are less allergenic than latex. However, there is an increased risk of transmitting STDs compared to latex because of pores in the material, which are thought to be large enough to allow infectious agents to pass through, albeit blocking the passage of sperm.[32] Lambskin condoms are also significantly more expensive than other types.
Sometimes it's not just the thickness of the condom or its size that matters for comfort. I've found that Polyurethane condoms (such as the Trojan Supra) are way more comfortable (for me anyway) than latex condoms. Unlike lambskin, they protect from STDs. They're a little bit more expensive than latex condoms, though. This said, I've also found them easier to put on, and they don't have any scent.
I can't believe this wasn't mentioned yet: Don't lube the inside of a condom.
A small dab of lube at the head of the condom, on the inside, is perfectly fine. It'll actually help prevent friction (a little), so breakage is less likely.
Obviously don't go slathering the whole condom with lube, but I don't even know how you'd do that, you'd have to unroll it all first.
Anyway, yeah, check out condomdepot.com -- grab one of their packs, they have a big tub full of their best selling/best rated condoms. Try masturbating with them before you get down to things to let yourself get used to the feeling, it may just take a little bit of time for you to get used to it.
For what it's worth, Durex Extra Sensitive is the best I've found so far.
Try using those ultra thin kimonos, its hard to tell if a condom is on at all...
I don't really know what you mean by "your size" but I'm pretty sure the difference between large, regular, and small condoms is minuscule
If you and your girlfriend are tested and comfortable, you could always have her go on the pill and not use condoms at all. But that would be, you know, a little risky!

If I'm not mistaken, the OP isn't in a committed relationship (living with the Ex and bringing random women home as well?), so exercising extra caution is probably prudent.
I too used to have a lot of trouble with intercourse using condoms, but toning down on the regularity of my masturbating and finding the right kind (I wish I remembered the exact type, but I found a brand of Trojans that works well for me) went a long way to making things work more easily in that regard.

actually, my boyfriend's cock was being strangled with normal size condoms, until we got a couple 'large' in a combo pack from condom mania once, and he was amazed at how much less bad they felt. he said it used to feel like a rubberband around his dick, and after they were removed, it certainly appeared that way. so, yes, it does make more than a miniscule difference.
also, the sizes are generally small -> normal -> large -> huge
google how to fit a condom, then break out some string and a ruler to measure yourself, make sure you are getting the correct size, and try a different brand, i have also heard the kimono condoms are great.

that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
something to keep tabs on for sure.

Judging from the ads I've seen on the subway, it would be Skyn.
I thought Skyn was from Lifestyles.
This quote alone makes my day.
It's pretty refreshing to see someone who actually applys some commonsense.
Wonder if they included Genital Warts in their study. If they did, then it's a bit on the sensational side.
You may be correct, I didn't have the box in front of me (nor do I now). Sorry I'm useless tonight haha.
