I'm sorry. I broke the search. :(

I was trying to search for posts made by my secret Santee containing the word "awesome" but apparently he thinks a lot of things are awesome, because I got this error message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /www/forums.penny-arcade.com/public/search.php on line 1819

Oops? Or is it unrelated?

Like I said, he either had a ton of search results returned (128MB is a lot of text) or it broke for no fault of my own. I haven't dared try again.

I just searched "awesome" and "whovian" (far more obscure term). First one, same message. Second one went through fine. If in doubt, you can do a site-specific google for "awesome" and your Secret Santee.

    site:http://forums.penny-arcade.com awesome <santee>

Is what you would plug into google, replacing <santee> with his or her name.

    Results like so: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fforums.penny-arcade.com+awesome+YamiNOSenshi&aq=f&oq=&aqi=

What's up with the semi-negative comments?

Thanks for reporting that the search feature isn't very optimized/useful, Tofy. Thank you Yami for the syntax on doing with with google, that looks great. I'll use google search in the future.
