Hey, so
You may remember me from such threads as "I hit my little brother, this sucks" and "is leasing for me". I'm back!
The girl and I have had a little bit of an off period recently... we haven't hung out as much the past couple weeks, she has lots of family birthdays, the holidays are arriving, we've both fended off sicknesses, etc. Just now she surprised me by asking whether I want to come over in the morning (which means :winky:). It's Black Friday tomorrow and we both work retail and considering today's a holiday... I figured we wouldn't be hanging out for a little while longer. She went on to tell me she's going to wear a skirt and [my favorite shirt of hers]. She's really gushing affectionately, too.
Basically my girlfriend picked up on the fact that I've been feeling a little put out by her not having lots of time for me, and she threw together this special little morning together. I'm really happy and it makes me feel special. I know she's doing this for me, and it's awesome she's put together this treat for me... but I would like to return the favor.
Without saying anything to her I'm trying to come up with something nice for her in the morning. I'm going to go out of my way to be groomed well, dressed nicely, etc. but I'm wondering whether there's anything else I can do? I'm heading over early in the morning and it's late now, so I can't really surprise her with flowers or anything like that. I've considered writing her a cute little note.
Is there anything else I can do to show how appreciative I am (and thankful for her, given the holiday's proximity ;-) )?
