Laptop Won't Boot and Stuff

I have a Toshiba Satellite L305-S5933

It gives me a "No boot disk found" error after the toshiba and microsoft loading screens

I'm running Vista Home Premium, but for the time being that is just about all the information I can give you

It's running a Startup Repair thing that I've tried a couple times but it never seems to work

Okay now it had the loading bar over the circle c microsoft corporation thing and now it is a black screen

    Sounds like classic failing HDD. I'd download and burn a copy of SeaTools available here, and see if it passes or not. If not, is the computer still under a warranty, and/or do you have your recovery discs?
