Is it wrong that I was at the library today and some 20-something male was talking about "17th century satire" to some 20-something female and another 20-something male in a high-pitched hompish voice and I wanted to push the lot of them down the stairs?
Is that wrong?
I'm not even sure if Podly has health insurance, so it's best that you did not give in to your impulses.
It was pretty good. No way am I doing all those achievements though.
They're not nearly as bad as the first game's achievements.
Fuck flag collecting.
I still collected every single one, though.
My Assassins Creed I was stolen when I was in the middle of it, but I was so incensed by the flag-collecting thing that I never picked it back up.
Now I'm thinking about going back and picking it up so I can play through it, since I enjoyed the second one so much. I wonder if it feels primitive by comparison?
Absolutely.
I'm glad I finished it 100% about a day before AC2 came out, because I don't think I can ever go back to it now. There's only one thing that it did better than AC2 to me - the actual big-name assassinations (putting together the facts, showing up, and figuring out 'how do I kill this guy and get away?')

I do! I even have a savings account now because I'm making that cash dolla.

what, you're not going to go and get every single goddamn feather?
You know, if they put the on the map I might actually do it.
So I guess it's good that they did not put them on the map.
Feathers still nearly aren't as bad. Only about ten to fifteen per area (counting the different districts of Venice and Florence as areas, and there are plenty of good maps already out) - and at least you can look up how many you have in any given area easily.

Man, now I am torn.
Such a good game.
I still didn't get the "blind four opponents" or the "kill 10 without being touched" achievements also, so it's not like I'm right on the edge. I can live without 100% I guess.

@podly: the universe is not composed only of matter or objects or beings. The hypothetical would have to be "let there be no anything." the universe cannot be a null-set as "null-set" is part of the set that is the universe.
A universe of null-sets and the universe.
So how do these abstract beings exist without material being?
And sets.
I don't know. It is a very strange hypothetical universe.

the codex pages and view points at least were on the map
Yeah so I was religious about getting those, and if there had been some sort of payoff, I probably would have collected all of those silly chests too.
So what the hell ubisoft?
I had to turn the map markers for the little chests off at a point, I couldn't make myself advance in the story cause I had to chase down all the damn icons.

I've only gotten 100% in Bioshock and Assassin's Creed
I think I got 100% on PSU because the achievements consisted of "finish the single-player mode" for 1000 points basically.
I came really close on Jericho, which was a much better game than it got credit for. But then it got stolen and no way am I going to buy a game and play through it just for the sake of like 20 achievement points.

for the record, Mass Effect has the worst achievements of all time
of all time!
They were fun because they gave you powerups and customization options.
Some were lame though. We all agree that the scanning minerals and artifacts things was shit.
I completed those. Nothing happened.
no they were not fun
they unlock things
but they are not fun
at the bare minimum, it requires you to play through the game thrice, with the correct classes and with a static party through most of the sidequests + spamming your skills as much as possible
the codex pages and view points at least were on the map

it's all grindy bullshit
and this is coming from me
I think the difference is that I didn't grind to get all of them.
If you just play the game, you will get some, and then on another playthrough you get some new things, and it's different depending on how your previous playthroughs were. I think that's fun.

I have 100% in PSU, I think. And Dead Rising. That's probably it.

All that I'm saying is that the metrical achievements of restoration drama trump all else written in English

Imma let you finish but I came pretty close on the ME achievements too. God I played a lot of that game.

Impossible. It doesn't have online achievements.

Well - some XBLA games too, I think.
